Remember [I.F.]

Well, unfortunately it’s been a super busy week, so for the first time since I’ve joined I’m using some of my old artwork for this weeks Illustration Friday theme, Remember.

Both of my grandmothers are still alive, thankfully, but lately they really haven’t remembered a whole lot…

My Haitian grandmother (above) who just turned 97, I believe. She remembers a bit more than my other grandma (below) who is runner up at the young age of 85. Unfortunately, alzheimers has been setting in and she just sits with a blank stare most of the time.

Both images were part of a series I had to do for a final project at College.
